Several years in the making, Shawn Tamaribuchi has traveled the world to capture a snapshot in time, the old school way.
From Brazil, to Japan, and back to the U.S., Tamaribuchi has shot film pictures of a who’s who of female athletes in BJJ and MMA. From Cyborg Santos to Kyra Gracie, she has covered a lot of ground in a short period of time, and looks like she is far from stopping.
Her new exhibit has just opened in San Francisco and will be open until July 28 at Photobooth FS, so make sure if you are in the Bay Area to stop by. You can also see some select shots and help Tamaribuchi continue her efforts at her website LiarPhoto.com.
