Rumors

In an interview with MMA Fighting this week, Showtime Sports executive Stephen Espinoza stated he wants MMA back on the network. With the success of Strikeforce, especially in the women’s divisions, Showtime is prime to get another promotion in, and one of the front runners is InvictaFC. Should be noted that Espinoza expressed that they haven’t talk to the promotion yet, and InvictaFC president Shannon Knapp expressed to us she still wants some creative control over the events.

The partnership seems like a natural fit, but only time will tell if an offer will be made.
