Over the weekend we have confirmed a bunch of announced fights for October. So many, we decided to break them down in one column for your convenience.

Medeiros
Coming off a KO of the Year in 2012, Kaline Medeiros is looking to get back to a winning track as she takes on pro debuter Rachel Sazoff at CES MMA in Lincoln, RI.
Medeiros (1-3) is coming off a majority decision loss to current Ultimate fighter competitor Peggy Morgan. Her most notable win was a KO over current XFC strawweight champ Stephanie Eggink in a match at 125 pounds. Medeiros will be dropping to 110 for the bout.
Sazoff (4-3 ammy) has been a staple of the NAAFS promotion in Ohio, with wins over Ronda Gale and Amber Ignatowski. She is coming off back to back decision losses.

October 5

Kelly

Stephens
Cage Warriors MMA will be kicking off their new women’s divisions with a bantamweight fight between Muay Thai specialists Hannah Stephens and Amanda Kelly in London.
Stephens (2-1) is coming off a decision loss to fellow Cage Warriors signee LJ Adams. She defeated Heather Martin by a neck crank submission in her debut.
Kelly will be making her debut in MMA, having won titles in Muay Thai. The Scottish fighter has fought some of the best in the Muay Thai realm including Julie Kitchen and Claire Haigh.

Cage Sports announced a match between flyweights Amy Cadwell and Hadley Griffith in Tacoma, WA.
Cadwell (1-0) is coming off a decision win over Cheryl Chan; avenging a loss to her as an ammy. Griffith (1-0) is also coming off a decision win, having went 0-2 as an amateur.

October 12
The finale of the MMA Super Heroes flyweight tournament is set as Kalindra Faria takes on Julie Aguiar in Sao Paula, Brazil.
Faria (11-3) earned her spot in the finals by defeating veteran fighter Carina Damm by armbar submission in July. She is on a seven fight win streak.
Aguiar (7-3) got the unanimous decision win over Vanessa Melo in the other semi-final. She racked up a win since qualifying for the finals, getting a unanimous decision win over Deise Lee Rocha in August. She has won her past 5 fights.
The undercard will feature Camilinha Lima facing Vanessa Guimarães in a strawweight bout.

October 17
Fresh off her win this past weekend, Holly Torrez is ready to return to the cage as she faces Rachael Wiley at Gladiator Fighting in Topeka, KS in an amateur bout.
Torrez (1-0) made her MMA debuter Saturday, getting the unaimous decision win over Pinky Busby at Ultimate Blue Corner in Kansas City. She will look to make it two in a row.
Wiley (2-1) is coming off a decision win over Elisabeth Espinosa this past July. She is looking for her third win in a row.
